An information sharing and promotional session to include a preview of the new CYSUR Threshold and eligibility support document and the next phase of Multiagency Safeguarding Training, being developed to support practitioners in their safeguarding roles that includes working with Thresholds and Assessing Risk of Significant Harm.
Aims:
- Consider emerging themes from Professional Curiosity Training, currently being delivered across Mid and West Wales
- Identity connections between thresholds and reoccurring themes from practice reviews
Introduction to the new threshold document - Discuss what’s coming next in Mid and West Wales, including a preview and introduction to “Right Help at the Right Time” Multi-agency Training
Facilitator: Paula McCreary
Paula is a qualified social worker with over 20 years’ experience working in front line services, as well as having extensive experience as a lecturer and trainer, teaching on social work courses in universities in Wales.
Her successful training and consultancy company has for over 20 years supported social care services and other professions, promoting the development of best practice in the delivery of services to individuals, families, and carers. She has delivered Multiagency training on Professional Curiosity across Wales and this has included designing and delivering a be-spoke training package for CYSUR, which has been delivered with great success across the Mid and West Wales Safeguarding Board area.

This webinar will be suitable for Social Workers, Health Professionals, Police Officers, Teachers and Education Professionals, Preventative Teams, Probation Officers, Relevant Third Sector Organisations.
