Open University – Collaborative Problem Solving for Community Safety

Explore collaborative approaches to improving community safety and addressing complex social issues. Learners will gain an understanding of partnership working, problem-solving techniques and how organisations can work together to support safer communities. Registration with OpenLearn is required to access the course and track learning progress.

UK Government – Prevent Duty Training

Providing an introduction to the Prevent duty, this training supports learners to recognise vulnerability to radicalisation and understand their role in safeguarding children, young people and adults from the risk of extremism.

Cardiff Council & WISE Kids – Preventing Online Radicalisation: Supporting Parents/Carers and Practitioners

Created for parents, carers and practitioners, this resource explores the risks associated with online radicalisation and extremism. It provides practical guidance on recognising warning signs and helping to keep children and young people safe online.

Learn how to create environments where children and young people feel safe, listened to and empowered. This resource provides practical approaches to participation, inclusion and safeguarding across a range of settings.
